Honey Coated French Toast(Best appetizer)

Already i shared about French toast for that recipe check here FRENCH TOAST



My son wont say its a french toast he will say its a Pizza it will have pizza soft texture.This is a best snack for kids lunch box during morning time

This time he asked with a honey dip or honey coated so tried that way

For this what you'll need is
Bread- [2 piece] is enough for small kids
Egg-[1]
Sugar-[1  teaspoon]
Butter -[ 3 teaspoon]
Milk-[1 teaspoon] is enough
Honey [1 or 2 teaspoon] for each bread or else you can dip in honey

How to do

Take a mixing bowl break the eggs and pour it.Now add sugar,milk, 1 teaspoon of butter.












Beat well with a Spoon or with a beater vigorously.Please use a big mixing bowl for beating the mixture so it wont leak outside




Take the dosa pan preheat it and coat with butter 1 teaspoon each for two breads consistency on dosa pan.

In this mean  time take the bread and dip it in the egg mixture just press it so it absorbs the coats inside


Just reverse it with spoon and again press the bread to absorb the coats.Then use two spoons to lift it and spread in pan.

Do the same for the next bread.Then close the lid allow it to cook in low flame.When one side got cooked well reverse it again and close it

Allow it to cook well on both sides when it cooked well just cut into small diagonal triangles and pack it.

You can coat with Honey now with a spoon or just dip in honey



If you regularly give this you can know the weight gain of your kid very soon.Today kids are active and they need more energy based foods so it might help more and as its honey coated it taste good

A morning healthy or evening hunger controlling snacks always we are searching.I always normally toast bread with ghee or butter and prepare for my son but these days he want a different strong stamina food.This french toast helps kids to gain more weight gradually.Some kids eat all healthy and mixed combination foods but this french toast varities surelly will work.For adults we can avoid butter instead can use olive oil based french toast so we wont gain weight and helps in burning calories

Everyone loves to have this healthy tasty spicy Chicken Egg Roll Omlette.As we are adding Egg and chicken In omlette it gives more stamina so we can have this as Morning Breakfast or for lunch or as a evening Snack

I am saying for one omlette

The Ingredients what you'll need is

Fried Chicken 65 pieces [4-6 Pieces] chop or cut into small size
Egg- [1 or 2]
Salt [2 pinch]
Pepper[2 pinch]
Onion-[1 table spoon]finely Chopped
Capsicum[2 teaspoon] finely Chopped
Voilet or green Cabbage[1 teaspoon]
Oil


The Cooking way starts now here we go

Take Dosa pan add oil and add the onion ,capsicumm shallow fry for few seconds not to to overcook the capsicumm then add the chopped chicken65 to it




Then add salt and chilli powder and pepper powder is optional to it for the above chicken65 onion capsicumm mixture and saute well for 20-30 seconds not more than that otherwise chicken will become more hard or rough if we overcook if oil needed add lightly and saute well in medium flame and transfer to a plate keep it aside


In this meantime Take a small mixing bowl break the egg add little amount of salt,pepper powder and beat well with a spoon or with a beater and keep it aside.

When dosa pan is preheated add oil and then pour the beaten egg in your desire shape as we are going to roll dont worry about the shape.Lower the flame

Now spread or sprinkle the chicken 65 capsicum onion mixture fastly because egg has to be watery means it will stick the above mixture well then lightly press this mixture by dosa Spatula.Add little oil and close the lid   let it cook in low flame



When the egg omlette top layer got cooked well it is ready to roll.Transfer to plate and start to roll and cut into two or three parts



So your tasty chicken Egg Roll will be ready and your guest family members really love this recipe




Poha(aval) Upma

Here  i share poha upma recipe


Ingredients:

Poha - 1 cup
Spices - Mustard seeds, jeera and urad dal
Onion - 1 medium size
Tomato - 2 small
Green chillies - 4
Potato - 2 small/boiled & peeled
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp

Method
1. Wash poha, drain water and keep it aside
2. Sauté spices, onion and green chillies
3. After few mins, add tomato
4. Add boiled cubes of potato
5. Add turmeric & salt
6. Add poha and mix well
7. Garnish with cilantro

Note that we should not add water as we do for rava upma. It will become very mushy if you add water.. Poha should not be sticky.

AS we know vaalai poo which is a banana flower has more health and medicinal
benefits but no one likes the taste as it has bitterness.
We can prepare as Vaalai poo Vadai or Vaalaipoo cabbage kootu
 so no one skips it and everyone will ready to taste it.
The concept of eating healthy foods in a tasty way everyone expecting this as a theme.

So i am sharing this Banana flower cabbage kootu which is a best companion for rice,chapathi,idly,dosa and bread

Ingredients


Chopped Vaalai poo(Banana Flower)-1 cup(50-100 flowers)
Cabbage -2cup thats 400 -500 gram atleast i can say
Channa dhaal 200 to 250 gram
Onion finely chopped 1 cup(small onions means 10 or medium  size onions means 1 or 2)
Green chilly -2 to 3
Garlic -4 to 5
Tomato-2 finely chopped
Chilly powder-2 -3 teaspoon

For seasoning

Mustard -1 teaspoon
Urad dhal(optional) 1 teaspoon
Dry red chilly-2
Curry  leaves-5 leaves
Cumin seeds 2 teaspoon


Procedure:

Soak the channa daal for 45 mins and wash it then pessure cook  for 5 whistles.Keep it aside


Now take a big pan(or)kadaai add oil then put the seasoning items one by one skip the cumin seeds for now







Now add the onion with a pinch of salt when it gets then add the cumin seeds here

After 20 seconds add the garlic,green chilly saute well for 40 seconds

In this stage add the cabbage and vaalai poo and add a (1/2) teaspoon salt or a little amount of salt.



Mix well then add tumeric powder,chilly powder,,cooked channa dhaal , tomato with little water if you want you can add water and adjust the salt,chilly powder and tomato




when everything got cooked well add the curry leaves and close the lid

Really it taste nice and spicy too so you can have a side dish for chapathi,idly,rice,bread.



Note this recipe has to be spicy and tangy means it taste yummy so you can add tomato and chilly powder in additional.Its a simple recipe it can be done very fast and your tasty healthy banana flower cabbage kootu will be ready








Pista Milk Palkova

This is high rich flavored sweet tastes good and you can give for kids as it gives more power because of pista and milk protein even a small ball size is enough.Surprise everyone with your pista milk palkova.

You need milk if its high fat milk it will be more tasty.I mostly use cream flavored milk for sweets so its bascially gives a good flavor.

Ingredients:


  • Milk -500ml to 1 litre atleast
  • semi roasted pista 1 teaspoon 
  • Any pista mix powder 2-3 teaspoon atleast
  • Sugar 1 cup if required you can add extra
  • Ghee 1 or two teaspoon this is lilke a preservative so it make the palkova stay fresh for long days


Procedure

Take a big heavy weighted kadaai or big heavy weighted  pan pour the milk dont add any water to it just add the fresh milk.






when it started to boil it may rise to overflow thats why asked to take a big vessel during preparation



Then and there check the milk stage it will start to create the thick fat layers so stirrer well

Boil it well and always have a eye on it when it started to become thick we need to add the sugar and ghee








When it attained the thick semi paste and bubbles started to vanish add the pista mix and semi roasted pista to it




So your greenish tasty pista palkova ready.This recipe simple but it will take some time to get ready as it has to create fat layers and has to become thick



Note :stirrer well the milk then and there otherwise the bottom side of the milk may get overburnt and will stuck.You need to stirrer then and there.
you can use non stick kadaai too

In my past chicken 65 kothu recipe you can skip the cabbage ,capsicum without these also you feel some different taste

Recipe seems to be very simple so you can prepare very fastly if you make the ingredients ready.it was a tasty recipe too like we eat in hotel

You dont need any special recipe for it so we can prepare very instantly


Ingredients:

  • Chicken 65- 1 cup just pulse it or chop it into small size but not very small
  • Egg- 1 
  • Chilly powder-2 teaspoon you can add more upto your spicyness
  • Pepper powder- 1 teaspoon
  • Tomato-1 or 2
  • Parota home made or bought from shop or ready made one -5 to 7 atleast chop it into small size by hands 
  • Medium size Onion finely chopped 2 or three
  • Green chilly finely chopped thats optional-2 
  • salt and oil as required
  • Mutton kari masal powder-1 teaspoon(optional)
  • Curry leaves
Procedure:


Now take the kadaai add oil then put the onion ,green chillies with a pinch of sugar, a pinch of salt fry it for 10 seconds

Then add the egg wait for 25 seconds then add the chopped chicken ,chilli  powder,tomato and add the required salt .Mix well and wait for 1 minutes and close the lids

When the tomatoes fried well you can add mutton karimasal powder to it in this stage otherwise skip it.if the raw smell faded away take it

Now add this mixture in the parota bowl mix everything well by mixing and you do kothu process by spoon thats optional and transfer to kadaai again.

Switch on the stove in medium flame and fry it for few seconds and reverse the bottom parota mixture to top and top parota mixture to bottom why we are again doing is it gives flavor if your parota is hard you feel you sprinkle some water lightly so it makes it soft.

Add the chopped curry leaves to it on the top and close the lid
This dish preparation just take 10- 15mins to totally to get ready every items you need to fry for few seconds if you overcook means all becomes hard.as already all items cooked

So your hotel style Chicken 65 kothu parota version 2 will be ready within few minutes

Note : dont overcook the chicken 65 for more minutes then it will become more hard

Now take the same kadaai again and add oil then put the garlic,onion ,green chillies with a pinch of sugar, a pinch of salt fry it for 10 seconds then add the finely grated cabbage stirrer for 20 seconds

Then add the egg just wait for 25 seconds then add the chopped chicken ,chilli  powder,tomato ,pepper powder and add the required salt .Mix well and wait for 1 minutes and close the lids

When the tomatoes fried well add the capsicum to it mix well again if you  want you can add karimasal powder to it in this stage otherwise skip it.if the raw smell faded away take it.you dont need to wait for capsicum to cook it has to be crunchy little bit.

Now add this mixture in the parota bowl mix everything well by mixing and you do kothu process by spoon thats optional and transfer to kadaai again.

Hotel Style chicken 65(a simple easy recipe)

These days everyone love to taste a flavor of  food in hotel style or restaurant style in home because of the rich flavor,aroma and a yummy taste.So i too got addicted to such taste.Once i visited a hotel i too mostly love the taste of chicken 65 which was  spicy and softly cooked and crisp too.

Mostly in our house we prepare the chicken 65 something was missing one is the crispyness but sometimes it may become hard and another one is flavor and finally it wont be soft inside also
So i started to find what is the cause for it and finally got it  right

The ingredients what you need is


  • Chicken boneless or normal one -1/2 kg
  • Oil for deep frying or for shallow fry


For Marination:

  • Chicken 65 powder  half sachet atleast if you needed more means add another few teaspoons
  • All purpose flour(maida) 2 table spoon if required more we can add extra table spoon
  • Corn flour-1 or 2 teaspoon
  • Salt as required
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Egg 1 or 2 ( white alone you need so leave the yellow part of the egg keep it aside)
  • pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  • chilly powder 1 -3 teaspoon if required more we can add extra tea spoon
  • Lemon juice 1 or 2 teaspoon (optional)
  • Curd 1 -2 teaspoon(optional)

Procedure:

Wash the chicken pieces well and filter the water and squeeze the unwanted water.Keep it aside.

Take a mixing bowl add the egg white,ginger garlic paste,chilly powder,chicken 65 powder, maida,cornflour,pepper powder,curd,lemon juice and salt as required .

Chicken 65 powder already have some salt so be careful and add salt in this above mixture.Dont add water now in mixing bowl.just mix everything and check if it very dry paste add a teaspoon of water

Take a fork spoon and punch or press or just write number one like one by moving front and backside of the chicken so  it produce some breaking or holes in chicken pieces why we are doing this the masala will enter inside chicken and give flavor of spicyness

So Now add chicken pieces in the mixing bowl if you have gloves wear it and mix well by hands vigorously and make the masala to get absorbed inside.

Check the salt and spicyness dont forget

Store in fridge for 1 hour atleast.even you can prepare this one day before night and use in morning so the long time it get marinate then it will have a rich flavors in it .

Store in air tight container or in ziplock it.

when marination part over we need to take it out from fridge and allow it to come to room temperature then start to deep fry after 20 mins

another note is you dont need to keep in fridge and you can fry atonce but the masala wont enter inside or it wont reach the chicken inside flesh and the flavor may miss.

So next you can select one choice shallow or deep fry.
Both will be awesome.

Shallow fry make the chicken soft and tender and
deep fry gives the crispyness outside and softness inside.

Dont over cook the chicken then it may become hard.
So preheat the oil as it got heated up just keep in low flame or medium flame then deep or shallow fry it

it will cook fastly because more the time it marinate it makes the chicken soft and tender so it cook very fastly

Finally cut a lemon slice and chopped onions and serve in a plate or bowl along with it as garnishing for chicken 65 so your restaurant style chicken 65 ready.

Jaggery Paniyaaram(traditional health food)

This is a traditional dish our elders and parents prepare the healthy dish in a tasty manner but we wont have time to follow the recipe correctly because of today busy life  one morething  is we never have patience to try this dish as its a little bit long process.my concept is always is to prepare the dish in a simple or easy or instant way.

The recipe Ingredients are a easy one you need very few items thats available in kitchen.so no issues  and you can referigerate the batter also for two days atleast .dont keep more than that.Include this menu two days once or weekly twice or once atleast.This is rich in iron and calcium content even diabetics patients also can eat little.So elders can also have in small levels.
Kids and for  other family members regularly including it

Ingredients:

Dosa batter -3 cup
Jaggery mash or broken one 1 (1/2)cup
Sugar 1/2 teaspoon(optional)
Rava -1 or 2 teaspoon
Elachi powder -1/2 teaspoon(Optional some people like yelachi so you can skip it)
Ghee

Procedure:

Steps seems to be easy as its a instant recipe.you make the batter set for 10 mins means that would be better after mixing

Take a bowl add the jaggery powder, elachi powder,sugar,rava and add the dosa batter.Just mix it and beat well

So it will  be dark yellow you can reduce the jaggery if you dont want it as too much sweet if you want sweetness more means add the jaggery more.

After mixing close it and dont disturb for 10-20 mins.
Now preheat the paniyaaram kadaai and add a teaspoon of ghee on each kuli and grease  the pan well

So when it lightly warm just start to pour the paniyaaram batter.Always start from outside kuli and finish the center inside  kuli because the center part cook fast so it may get burnt the paniyaaram fastly.

Close the lid if you want the paniyaaram to cook fastly otherwise  you dont need to close it.
When one side cooked just reverse it by turn it upside down  and wait them to cook well.

So your tasty healthy sweet paniyaaram will be ready.
When you are preparing idly or dosa you can have this also on the same day special breakfast along with it.




Note make the batter little bit thick as i add more water its littlebit tough to reverse.so the batter has to be little bit thick like idly batter.
